The session themes for oral presentations cover: (1) Horseshoe crab population ecology and evolution; (2) Advances in horseshoe crab biology; (3) Education and public awareness; (4) Horseshoe crab in biotechnology; (5) Horseshoe crab conservation challenges. The program of the Workshop will include: plenary talks, oral and poster presentations, field excursions, stakeholder workshops and outreach activities. An IUCN Red List Assessment Workshop focusing on Asian Horseshoe Crab will be arranged to introduce the process to the participants.
